No Violence During Gills/Town Match

The Swindon Advertiser is reporting that Wiltshire Police recieved no reports of any violence during last night's Swindon Town/Gillingham Match.

Fans were treated to a heavy police prescence from the Rail Station, In town and all the way to the County Ground. In the end Gillingham and Swindon supporters had common sense and there are no current reports of a repeat of the violence that took place at Priestfield in January.

Both clubs had a black eye after this stupidity and due to this mindless violence Swindon Town F.C had to foot a hefty police bill. Last months violence resulted in the police helicopter also being present to keep an eye on things at the County Ground and surrounding areas.
