Ifil Agrees New Contract

Swindon Town Defender Jerel Ifil has verbally agreed to extend his contract until the end of the 2006/07 season.

Speaking to Swindon Town's Official Website he said.
'I am enjoying my time here and hopefully I can complete the contract extension within the next few days.'

'There are a lot of exciting players here and I think we are playing well as a unit. The squad has potential and if we can keep the bulk of the squad together then we could go places and I want to be a part of what could be an exciting future here at Swindon Town,'

Ifil joined Swindon from Watford after 3 successful loan periods at Swindon. Ifil is also enjoying his best campaign to date at Swindon and has become a fan favourite after becoming a more disciplined player this season.
