Swindon Slash Prices For Port Vale

Swindon Town will be opening up the Stratton Bank to home fans and will be able to wave good bye to Port Vale as they head to League 2 at discount prices!

SWINDON TOWN PRESS RELEASE

Swindon Town will be opening up the Stratton Bank to home fans and have slashed their prices for the visit of Port Vale.

With the 2007-2008 Season drawing to a close - and as part of the Football League's 'Fans Of The Future' initiative - Swindon Town have designated the visit of Port Vale to The County Ground on Saturday April 19th as a 'Family Day'.

Supported by The Swindon Advertiser, prices have been slashed for all areas of the ground. Junior tickets are priced from as little as £2 a ticket. The Stratton Bank is also open to home fans, with tickets available for just £6.

Swindon Town season ticket holders are able to move to the Stratton Bank from their normal seats free of charge.

Adver readers can enjoy a further £1 discount on all main stand tickets. To claim, cut out the voucher printed in today's Swindon Advertiser (the voucher will be re-printed on Tuesday's and Thursday's over the next few weeks), take it along to the STFC Box Office or quote Swindon Advertiser 35426 if purchasing tickets over the phone.

The Adver promotions team will be at The County Ground before kick-off, with goodies on offer and Allie The Alligator will be joining in the fun by challenging Town mascot Rockin' Robin to a penalty shootout at half-time.

Discounted tickets will only be available until 5pm on Friday 18th April, with normal matchday ticket prices applying on the day of the game.

Please call into the STFC Box Office with your voucher and mention 'The Swindon Advertiser Family Day' to purchase your tickets. Or call 0871 2232300.

The 'Fans of the Future' campaign aims to encourage the next generation of supporters to watch live football at their local League club by providing a range of innovative ticketing initiatives for young supporters.

Swindon Town FC have for the last three seasons offered a 'Kids Go Free' scheme for fans under the age of seven, as well as discounted tickets for school groups and local football teams.

Terms and Conditions

To qualify for a Junior ticket you must be 15 or under on 19th April 2008.

To be eligible for the discounted £2 ticket, juniors must be accompanied by a paying adult. Maximum five juniors per adult.

Offer ends at 5pm on Friday 18th April 2008.

Lol, love the opening statement about waving goodbye to Port Vale at a discount price!! This is another good move by the Swindon board and clearly shows consideration for fans, especially ones that find it difficult to afford these games. It will be interesting to see what levels the season tickets are at next season - I used to be a season ticket holder but I hardly go to the games now because of the expense, but with offers like these they are too good to miss.
