Swindon Town Announce Ticket Prices

Swindon Town have announced season ticket prices for the 2008/09 League One campaign with significant reductions on current prices.

Press Release From Swindon Town

Our GOAL was to bring football home to the fans with a simply sensational 2008/09 season ticket offering. We have achieved this with a new unbeatable £229 price!

Your GOAL is to support this initiative by helping STFC sign up 6,000 season ticket holders before August 1st 2008.

The STFC Board is acutely aware of how the cost of attending a football match has risen steadily over the years and in the current economic climate there is a need to be sensitive to these conditions and act accordingly. With the introduction of a £229 adult season ticket, football can once again be enjoyed for less than £10 per match, something not seen since 1993 when the Robins were in the Premier League!! The same low price will be available to all adults, throughout all home stands.

This season, we are introducing a new, discounted, season ticket to young adults aged between 16 and 21, as well as continued discounted season tickets for students, our fans who require wheelchair access and senior citizens. These groups of fans can enjoy League One football for as little as £7.35 per game.

We have also re-vamped our family season tickets, with two different packages on offer. A parent can bring along up to two children for the combined price of just £13 per game. Alternatively a family of two adults and three children can all attend for less than £22 for all five family members.

Once again, prices have been set with our 'Fans Of The Future` in mind. Junior season tickets are available from just £3 per game, whilst fans under 7 can receive a season ticket for free.

Fans will be asked to provide part-payment for their season tickets when signing up, with a second payment due by October 1st. This second payment will vary, and will be dependant on whether the 6,000 target has been achieved.

The 2008-2009 season is of course the 40th Anniversary of the Club`s famous League Cup victory against Arsenal. As an added bonus, if the target of 6000 is reached, all Season Ticket holders who sign up before August 1st will receive an exclusive, 1969 season replica shirt. This shirt will not be available to purchase.

Current Season Ticket holders (postal applications and in person) will be available to purchase their 2008-2009 Season Tickets from Monday 12th May 2008. Current Season Ticket holders have their seats reserved until Monday 16th June 2008 after which they will be released for general sale. Season Tickets for new applicants will be available to purchase from Monday 19th May 2008.
