Timlin Signs 2 Year Deal At Swindon

Timlin Signs 2 Year Deal At Swindon

On loan Fulham midfielder Michael Timlin has signed a 2 year permanent deal to remain at the County Ground until the end of the 2009/10 season.

Timlin enjoyed his second loan spell at the club after helping the club win promotion from League 2 last term.

Timlin and Easton have looked a formidable pair in the heart of Town's midfield.

The news came to Town fans as they stood outside the County Ground Hotel pub and chanted 'sign him up' when Timlin left the ground with Jon-Paul McGovern.

Timlin then looked at the fans with his arms aloft and replied 'I already have, signed a 2 year contract' with a big smile on his face which brought a cheer from the Town faithful reflecting on an interesting 2007/08 campaign.
