Ricky Shakes Stung By Bee's

Former Swindon Town midfielder Ricky Shakes is looking for a new club after being released by Brentford.

Shakes was one of many Town players who was released after the club`s promotion back to League One last season but managed to earn a short-term contract until January at Brentford after impressing then manager Terry Butcher.

Shakes would go on to feature regularly for the first team and earn a contract until the end of the season.

Current Bee`s boss Andy Scott has now told the former Bolton Wanderers player that he will not be offered a new deal for the 2008/09 campaign leaving Shakes in limbo again.

Shakes explained last season it was difficult to get a new club once again faces the prospect of a long uncertain summer after the latest set-back.
