Club Thanks Fans
Swindon Town Football Club have released a statement thanking fans for travelling to Nottingham to witness the 7-1 massacre at the City Ground.
The statement is as follows....
Swindon Town would like to thank to every member of the 1,188 away supportthat made the trip to The City Ground on Saturday afternoon.
On behalf of the Players and Management the club would like to express it's thanks to those supporters who gave unequivocal support to the team in what proved to be incredibly adverse circumstances.
Your support, as always, is extremely important to the club and whilst recognizing that Saturday's defeat was massively disappointing (to say the least), the club's fantastic away following once again shone through to be a credit to the name of Swindon Town FC.
