Kevin Amankwaah To Join Swindon?

The Swindon Advertiser is today reporting that Swansea City defender Kevin Amankwaah could become Swindon Town`s first summer signing.

Town boss Maurice Malpas has made no secret that he is looking for a couple of defenders and Amankwaah would certainly fit the bill after helping Swansea City win promotion to the Championship last term.

Town are almost certain to lose Miguel Comminges to Cardiff City in the coming weeks and will be looking to replace him with a strong player who can add to the already impressive duo of Hasney Aljofree and Jerel Ifil.

Amankwaah had spells at Torquay United, Cheltenham Town and Yeovil Town before signing for The Swans in 2006.
