Swindon In For Wolves' Charlie Mulgrew

Swindon Town are chasing highly rated Scotland Under 21 and Wolverhampton Defender Charlie Mulgrew.

The Western Daily Press is reporting that Mulgrew is keen on a move to the County Ground after having a good loan spell at Southend United last term.

Aberdeen and Southend were keen to sign the former Celtic defender however there are concerns about the fee that may be involved.

The deal is believed to include a fee of 125,000 plus add-ons.

Mulgrew has 3 Scotland Under 21 caps and worked with Town boss Maurice Malpas when he was temporarily in charge of the Scotland Under 21 set-up prior to arriving at Swindon.
