Swindon Linked With Man United's Ritchie Jones

Swindon Town have been linked with a move for highly-rated Manchester United midfielder Ritchie Jones.

Jones is out of contact at Old Trafford and has been invited to pre-season training with the Wiltshire club.

Jones has been at United since 2005 but has had spells on loan at Royal Antwerp, Colchester United, Barnsley and Yeovil.

Jones has also been capped for England at the Under 15,16, 17,18,19 and 20 levels.

The highly rated midfielder was a member of the England Under 19 squad that reached the UEFA European Under 19`s finals in July 2005 before being beat by France.

Town may face some competition for the versatile player with a Football League club already offering him a contract.

Well looked alright when we had him on loan at Colchester. A few of our fans have been saying they wouldn't mind seeing us offer him a contract.
