Yinka Casal Set To Sign For Swindon Town

Yinka Casal is set to become Swindon Town's latest signing after Town and Casal's current club Cambuur Leeuwarden agreed a fee.

Casal is believed to have agreed personal terms today and will be officially named a Swindon Town player in the next 24 hours.

Yinka Casal is an athletic player and was a long jumper and was on a 4x100 relay team that still holds the British U-13 record.

With bags of pace to burn Casal was the top goal scorer Fulham's reserves before heading to the USA to play for MLS side DC United.

Casal would play 4 games before asking for his release to play in Europe again.

Casal would join Cambuur Leeuwarden and play 20 games before going on trial at Swindon earlier this month with the aim of returning to England.

The former Fulham winger/defender did enough to earn a contract at the County Ground and both Swindon and Cambuur Leeuwarden agreed a suitable fee today which is believed to be made up based on appearances for Swindon.
