Sky Tip Swindon Town For Relegation

Clueless writers at Sky Sports have tipped Swindon Town to be relegated to League 2 in their season preview.

The sports giants that ruined football by ploughing loads of money into the Premier League allowing the lower league clubs to fight for survival, have decided that because Maurice Malpas had not added to his squad by bringing in players for the sake of it, that the team will face the drop.

I wonder if anyone at Sky Sports has bothered to come out and watch Swindon Town play this pre-season? Not Likely, they are too busy filling the pockets of fat cat Premier League chairman and players who are happy to see clubs in the lower league suffer until eventually they go into administration like Bournemouth, Luton and Rotherham.

Clearly they have not seen that Swindon Town gave Champions League sides a good game away from the County Ground and that Simon Cox prior to his hand injury was scoring for fun.

Malpas' side are playing good football now and playing along the ground which will make for some entertaining stuff this season at the County Ground.

Sky Sports reason for Town being relegated is well backed up with the comment 'Swindon have been repeatedly frustrated in the transfer market and could pay the price for failing to add to their ranks'

We had 2 players who did not want to join us being Kevin Mahar and Charlie Mulgrew.

Whilst decent signings (Mulgrew anyway) they are hardly the players that make or break a promotion season are they?

Anyway we will have the final laugh when they have to announce that Swindon Town have been promoted to the Championship at the end of the season.

COME ON YOU REDS!
