Simon Cox Slams 'Expert Predictions'

Swindon Town Striker Simon Cox has slammed critics who say Town will face a relegation battle this season.

Speaking to the Swindon Advertiser Cox stated, 'We will do well this season, no matter what the so-called experts say."

Sky Sports have stated they think Swindon will finish 23rd whilst The Times lists Town as finishing 20th this season in League One. Some bookmakers are even offering 3/1 for Town to drop into League 2.

Cox Told the Advertiser that "expert predictions" should be taken with a punch of salt, "I don't think that all the predictions are actually researched properly anyway. They then look at the big teams like Leeds and say they will do well. I bet they haven't even looked at who we have signed this summer and so it does not mean a lot.'

As we stated yesterday, We will have the final laugh at the end of the season.
