Maurice Malpas: Our Players Are Not For Sale

Swindon Town boss Maurice Malpas has told team trying to lure Anthony McNamee, Peter Brezovan and Simon Cox away from the club that he is not interested.

Town have got off to a flying start, playing some good football but Malpas has warned the admirers that he wants to keep his squad intact.

Portsmouth are known to be tracking McNamee and send a scout to Tuesdays game whilst Brezovan is still attracting interest from Swansea City among other clubs.

Town`s talisman striker Simon Cox is also attracting interest however Malpas is keen to keep a hold of his whole squad as Town mount a promotion push.

Malpas also revealed that chairman Andrew Fitton is not prepared to let any players go for pennies and that the club do not need to sell as they are now financially sound.
