Football League Extends Transfer Deadline

Football League Extends Transfer Deadline

The Football League and Premier League have extended the transfer deadline by a massive 24 hours taking the deadline to midnight on September 1st.

That's right, the Sam Parkin returning to Swindon Town rumours can carry on for another day after the Football League, and Premier League agreed to extend the transfer deadline until midnight on the 1st September to keep things interesting.

Maurice Malpas is sure to be busy over the next week or so as he looks to add to his squad who are aiming for a top 6 finish this term.

Malpas has also stated that a few players could be heading out the County Ground door.

Michael Pook and Blair Sturrock are names being thrown about however we wouldn't be at all surprised if a few of the youngsters go out to non league clubs to get some much needed first team action.
