£2,000 Added to Red Army Fund

Manager Iffy Onuora will have some extra money if need be to spend on players after generous fans donated over £2,000 to the Red Army Fund at last nights auction.

Here is the release from Trust Stfc:

The auction night in aid of the Red Army Fund proved to be a resounding success at the County Ground tonight with well over £2,000 being raised, taking the total raised since the launch of the fund to over £18,500

The star attractions in the auction were the days training with the first team squad, which fetched £600, and the pair of match worn boots signed by Sam Parkin which raised £460. Four other items attracted significant 3 figure bids with the final item of the night, a signed STFC home shirt fetching £220.

The evening started with a question and answer session with Swindon manager Iffy Onuora who gave his views on a wide range of topics including his style of management, Swindons prospects for the remainder of this season and beyond, and attendances at the County Ground.

TrustSTFC would like to thank Iffy for giving up his valuable time to attend the meeting, Gary Tate for agreeing to act as host and auctioneer, and the Town fans who supported the event and dug deep into their pockets to raise money for the RAF fund.
