At the last 2 Swindon Town matches a section of Town fans have started chanting, 'We all hate Leeds scum' but why?
Let's be honest frankly it's somewhat embarrassing. Why do we hate Leeds? OK Ken Bates is a bit of an idiot and yes Dennis Wise left us for the pound signs at Elland Road but let's be honest do Leeds fans really care less about Swindon Town? Not a chance.
Town take on the former European giants in a League One match this Saturday at the County Ground in what should be a good match.
Town have come off 2 good performances away whilst Leeds battered hapless Crewe Alexandra 5-2 at the weekend.
Leeds talent wise is probably the best team in League One and without the stupidity and crying about being -15 points this season, Leeds should be 'up there' at the end of the season.
Town will be looking to take all 3 points after losing last years affair at the County Ground.
Town fans favourite 'tosser' Casper Ankergren seems to have fallen out of favour and will likley play second fiddle to David Lucas who has travelled around the league.
Ankergren will be remembered by Town fans for allegedly throwing a lighter at fans in the Town End after Leeds win last season.
Why Casper had a lighter on the pitch we will never know.
As for 'We all hate Leeds scum' it seems a bit silly to chant something like this. I mean lets be honest, Leeds fans care about Manchester United and Chelsea, not Swindon Town except maybe for this Saturday. Let's get behind Swindon and not worry about Leeds.
At the end of the day they are just another League One club now. They are a big club in name only, Let's right the wrongs that took place against Colchester United in our last home game.
