STFC: Jamie Vincent Out Until November

Swindon Town defender Jamie Vincent who has been plagued with knee problems will be out of action until at least November.

Vincent will have an operation on his knee next week to fix the problem.

The injury has been confirmed as a tear in his cartilage.

Town boss Maurice Malpas confirmed losing Vincent is a blow to his squad given their current struggles in defence.

Speaking to swindontownfc.co.uk Malpas said, 'He is probably the talker in the team. I wish we had more like him but the rest of the players now have to show more leadership.'
