Blair Sturrock On Trial At Bournemouth

Swindon Town striker Blair Sturrock is to be given a chance to earn a contract at League 2 side Bournemouth.

Sturrock who has not got anywhere near the first team this season appeared to be set to move to Luton Town earlier in the season however these reports were never confirmed.

Sturrock has linked up with former Town star and manager Jimmy Quinn at Bournemouth on trial in the hope of securing a loan deal which could result in a permanent deal at the Fitness First Stadium.

Sturrock was a fixture in the Town side over the last 2 seasons however fell out of favour prior to this season and has not even been named on the bench thus far.

Sturrock works the channels well but will never be a big goal scorer. Sturrock played a decent part in Town's promotion from League 2 during the 2006/07 season.
