Knowing our luck now, Malpas may turn it around... I believe a certain Lou Macari started off pretty poorly and his team went on to win the league with record points.

Lou had a personality and was a person we all knew about, and we were not led up the garden path by saying we are going to get an experienced manager, so we were prepared to give him time. If I remember rightly Harry Gregg his number 2 didn't fit in, so they sacked him.
