STFC: Malpas Makes First Team Play For Reserves

Swindon Town boss Maurice Malpas has said all his first team will play in a reserve match against Cheltenham Town this evening except three players.

The three players who will miss the game and play Saturday are Simon Cox, Jack Smith and Lee Peacock. The rest of the squad will have to prove their worth in tonight's reserve match at the County Ground.

That means the likes of Michael Timlin, Jerel Ifil, Billy Paynter, Peter Brezovan and Craig Easton will see action tonight.

Barry Corr and Hasney Aljofree are expected to play as well.

The match starts at 7pm so why not pop down and cheer the lads on, let's be honest it is probably the best chance we have for a home win for a while!

don't see why those 3 don't have to prove that they deserve to play. peacock was far off being the best player

Peacs wears his heart on his sleeve - might not be best but atleast he showed some fire in his belly and to me I would have him my side any day.

i agree he might not be our best player but he tries the hardest and is very honest
