Swindon 2-1 Northampton
Swindon's run of home defeats was ended after a 2-1 win over in-form Northampton on Tuesday.
The sides couldn't be separated at half time, but early in the second Swindon were ahead through Billy Paynter (48). Just after the hour Simon Cox (61) increased the home sides lead. The only dampener on the evening was the injury-time consolation from Giles Coke (90), but it didn't stop Swindon from ending a run of five successive defeats at the County Ground.
