Malpas Looking Ahead After Win

Malpas Looking Ahead After Win

Maurice Malpas has urged his side to build on the win over Northampton, and prove it's not a one off.

The Swindon manager is determined for that win not to be a case of one step forward and then one, or even two, steps back: 'We've got to get ourselves back to an even keel and start looking ahead,' Malpas told BBC Radio Swindon. 'You've got a great chance when you get beat to put it right and if you win you have a great chance to make it two on the trot quite quickly.

'If we get beaten on Saturday everyone says we are back to square one, so it's important that we are bold and get everyone behind us when it counts.'

Swindon's next fixture is against highflying League One outfit Oldham.
