Andrews: Histon Can Beat Swindon

Histon midfielder Neil Andrews believes his side have what it takes to beat Swindon Town in their FA Cup first round clash on Saturday at Bridge Road.

Histon currently sit happy in third in the Blue Square Premier Table only one point off top spot. which is currently held by Kettering.

29 year old Andrews who spent time at Great Shelford, Sawston Utd, and Cambridge City before joining Histon told Cambridge News 'It's probably the biggest game of our careers and we'll be giving it our all and giving it a real good fight.'

Histon will be high on confidence right now something Andrews alluded to when he confidently spoke to the media, 'Even though they're a couple of leagues above us, it's a game that I fancy us to win at the moment as we're looking pretty solid. If they have a bit of an off-day and things go our way then I really think we can turn them over.'

Histon are expecting anywhere between 2,500 and 3,000 fans to attend Saturday's clash.

Histon are no strangers to beating Football League teams after beating League 2 side Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup in 2004 before losing to Yeovil Town in the second round.
