Vital Glassworld Stadium: Home Of Histon F.C

Vital Swindon Town brings you all the relevant information about The Glassword Stadium for fans travelling to Histon Saturday.

Pre-match views

From pictures if you thought Accrington Stanley was bad, Histon will be a real culture shock to our fans. The stadium is located in a tiny village with trees surrounding the main stadium. The fact the stadium is so small will likely play in favour of Histon who are used to the tiny ground atmosphere. This however is what the FA Cup is all about. The small clubs getting a chance to play a big club on their turf and we look forward to it.

Pre-match Pint

Histon fans have said on their message board that the nearest pub is called the Railway Vue on Station Road and it is about a 5-10 minute walk away.

There are also several pubs in the centre of the village.

Going By Train

There is no train station in Histon. The closest station is in Cambridge. You will need to get a train from Swindon-London Paddington and get the Tube to London Kings Cross then head to Cambridge.

Weather

The current weather forecast indicates light rain so fans should be prepared to dress and avoid the elements as the ground is largely in the open.

Ticket Prices

Ticket prices for this match are as follows,

-Adults £13.00

Concessions £7.00

Under 16's £3.00

Hospitality £47.50
