Swindon Officials Set To Sack Malpas

Swindon Officials Set To Sack Malpas

Swindon Town chairman Andrew Fitton has apparently arrived at the County Ground to meet with the board as the club make a final decision on the future of Maurice Malpas.

Town were eliminated from the FA Cup in an embarrassing 1-0 defeat to non league Histon as well as losing to Brighton in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy on Wednesday thus eliminating them from any competition apart from the league and it`s not even the end of November yet.

Fitton had been keen to see Town advance in the competitions after the club ran an initiative to get around 6,000 season ticket holders. With poor results and fans choosing not to re-new tickets for the second half of the season.

Town will likely be looking to get a bigger name manager in to get the fans excited and keep them coming through the turnstiles.
