Nicky Summerbee Done?

Former Fan Favourite, Nicky Summerbee's career may be finished after being released by Conference outfit Tamworth.

Buzzer as Summerbee was affectionatly known returned to Swindon Town earlier in the season against Nottingham Forest however lacked match fitness. He looked as if he could have been effective but has quietly slipped into the abyss.

Summerbee has played for Swindon, Tranmere and Tamworth this season, being released from all three clubs. It would make a sad way to end a magnificant career if Summerbee were to retire now.

Summerbee has played for Man City, Sunderland, Bolton, Nott'm Forest, Leicester City, Bradford, Tranmere and Swindon Town during his career. He left Swindon back 1994 to Manchester City for 1.5 Million which was a high fee for Swindon.

We wish Nicky Summerbee all the best in the future.
