Boothroyd Or Cotterill Won't Get Swindon Job

Swindon Town chairman Andrew Fitton has confirmed that two of the favourites for the managers job, have not applied as the managerial search goes on.

Fitton confirmed in an interview with BBC Wiltshire, that neither Aidy Boothroyd or Steve Cotterill had applied for the managers job and that a shortlist had been drawn up.

The shortlist is thought to include former Carlisle boss John Ward and former Leicester manager Ian Holloway although he would not go into detail on just who was on the list.
