Rhys Evans Breaks Hand?

Rhys Evans Breaks Hand?

Rumours have began to circulate today that Rhys Evans broke a bone in his hand yesterday and may now be out for the season. This would be a massive blow to Swindon's survival hopes.

Evans who has had a tough season, missing most of it due to constant knee problems, was replaced by Manchester United youngster Tom Heaton earlier in the season. Heaton has since returned to Manchester United as he was not Town's first choice keeper, and the only senior keeper on Town's books now is Matt Bulman.

Bulman has yet to feature in a senior match and has had a rough time in the reserves this season.

Another option may be youngster Jon Stewart who was previously at Queens Park Rangers and Chelsea before signing for Swindon but has featured mostly for the Youth Team.

The emergency loan window shuts soon so if this rumour is true, Iffy Onuora would have to act fast to bring in a replacement.
