Pook Mulling Over New Deal

Home grown midfielder Michael Pook has revealed he is in talks over a new contract at the County Ground.

Speaking after Swindon's 1-0 defeat at Layer Road Saturday, he told the assembled media, “Like a few others, we’re in talks at the moment. The most important thing at the moment though is making sure we’re playing in this division next year.’’

Pook has featured in most of Swindon's games up until being arrested for drinking and driving earlier in the year, and has only just started to see more action again.

Pook currently has one goal this season, that coming against Wycombe Wanderers in the first round of the Carling Cup, which Town lost 3-1.
