'If It's Football, It's Vital'

David Byrne's Match Reaction

Swindon Town caretaker boss David Byrne gives his views on Town's 2-1 victory over struggling Leyton Orient.

'The plan was for Lee Peacock and Lilian Nalis to play as defensive midfielders but after Peacock scored so early we pushed Orient back.

'We dealt with everything that Orient had to throw at us - although I'd like to have kept a clean sheet.

'Today you've seen a group of players who wore the shirt with pride. That win was for our away supporters, people follow us week in, week out.

'I'm delighted that the fans have something to shout about.'

It's a shame these players didn't show the passion they did yesterday for the rest of the season, that said it's a start!
