What an eventful year at the County Ground. Wouldn't be STFC without a bit of drama. Let's hope 2009 has more highs than lows! UP THE TOWN!
STFC_Gazza
What were your highlights Gazza if any? I enjoyed the 3-2 win against Huddersfield... McNamee was on fire that evening (he destroyed Frank Sinclair), the ref had shocker - sadly the only two things he got right were the sendings off of Peacock and Paynter! The referee's performance was so poor, at half-time and 3-1 up the fans were talking about hopefully getting a result!
Nellup
I enjoyed the QPR cup tie even if we lost. The optimism of things to come was in the air but ofcourse things went a bit pear shaped after that. Other than that like you Huddersfield was a bit special!
STFC_Gazza
I went to the QPR game and at times we played really tidy football. I was amazed we went in front because we were poor in the first 45 minutes but we were terrific in the second half.
Nellup
Something happened after that game, not sure what, was it Malpas? who knows?
