Kyle & Craddock Set For Swindon?

The Evening Advertiser has named veteran defender Jody Craddock and former Scotland forward Kevin Kyle as the two loan men that Swindon boss Danny Wilson wants to bring in and help move the Town away from relegation.

Craddock, 33, started his professional career at Cambridge United before a £300,000 move to Sunderland where he would help the Mackems get to the top flight. A £1.75 million move to Wolverhampton Wanderers followed where he has played over 150 games. This season Craddock broke his metatarsal and has struggled to regain a first team place.

Stranraer born striker Kevin Kyle, 27, started his career at Sunderland (playing alongside Craddock for several seasons) scoring 16 goals in 91 league outings before a £600,000 move to Coventry City in 2006.

Kyle has never been a fans favourite at Coventry, he's only scored 5 goals in 44 games and has been shipped out on loan to Wolves and was this season signed by Danny Wilson at Hartlepool United - making his debut in the 3-3 draw with Swindon.

Kyle was capped 8 times for Scotland during their 'dark years' under German Berti Vogts.

If fit, Craddock offers some much needed experience. I saw Kyle play for Hartlepool against Swindon this season and wasn't up to much. Could work at Swindon, who knows - we'd have to wait and see.

Craddock would be a great signing, Kyle not so much so but defense is the worst part of our game right now!
