Trialists Set For Swans & Vincent Returns!

The official Swindon Town website have confirmed that two trialists will feature the tonights reserve fixture against Swansea City.

The first is 22 year old Haiti international centreback Jean-François Lescinel had previously spent time on trial with Scottish club Aberdeen, playing during Pre-Season in 2008.

Born in the South American nation of French Guinea, Jean-François Lescinel began his footballing career in France, playing for the reserve teams of Paris Saint Germain and Sedan before a move to Scotland with Falkirk in February 2006. He made his full debut for The Bairns in front of over 56,000 at Celtic Park.

He then moved on Ligue 2 club Guingamp and in the summer of 2008 he featured for the Haiti national team against Netherlands Antilles.

The second trialist will be French striker Hamdi Razak.

The first point the press has been quick to acknowledge is that in 2007 Razak spent some time on trial at Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Dover Athletic. Dover manager Andy Hessenthaler was keen to sign the Frenchman but Razak's wage demand were seen as unreasonable.

He told the Dover Athletic website that he

"loved the kid. He had talent and we were going to give an unproven player an opportunity in England.... But sadly he wasn't realistic with the type of money he wanted. He was coming here for the money and that's not the type of player I want to sign at Dover Athletic. So we've washed our hands of that one and we move on."

Razak has also played for Paris club Chantilly and had a trial spell at Dutch Eerste Divisie (2nd tier of Dutch football) club RBC Roosendaal.

Meanwhile Swindon Town defender Jamie Vincent is also set to feature tonight after a long period on the sidelines with a knee injury.

The Official Swindon website states the following for tonight match...

'Entry to this evening's game is free for Season Ticket Holders with prices £3 Adults and £1 Concessions.

Kick-Off is 7pm at The County Ground. The Legends Lounge will be open before the game for all supporters

Trialists straight out of the Paul Sturrock school of scouting. Obviously I'm thinking Zaaboub, Noubissie & Gnapka - here's hoping they are more like Zaaboub in the discovery department.

it sound like the erend a short term contract until the end of the season. Hope to see the both play apart to make sure that we stay up
