Parkin is the 'Player of the Decade'

'Super' Sam Parkin has been voted Swindon Town's best player of the decade by Swindon vital voters in a recent poll.

The striker scored 68 goals in 126 league games for Swindon from 2002-2005 beforing departing for Ipswich Town.

Second place went to midfielder Danny Invinicible. The Australian played 128 leagues games for Swindon from 2000-2003, he famously scored the goal that saved Swindon from relegation in 2001.

Third was current favourite Simon Cox and fourth was Tommy Mooney.
