Allen Fears Town Exit

Allen Fears Town Exit

Swindon Town midfielder Chris Allen has confessed his fears that his career at the County Ground could be ending this summer.

The Devizes born 20 year old has been on Swindon's books since the age of nine but now faces the bleak prospect of entering the football scrapheap this summer if he fails to earn a new deal from Danny Wilson.

A member of Town's vastly improving youth set-up Allen made played 12 league outings playing four times this season.

Talking to the Swindon Evening Advertiser Allen stated that he is 'not the only player in this position, but it is worrying because you don`t know where your future lies.' But the youngster has maintained that he is determined to earn a new deal by concluding that he has 'to try and keep training hard, playing well in the reserves and see what happens come the end of the season.'
