'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Andy Nicholas Set To Sign

Midfielder Andy Nicholas is set to sign a new contract with Swindon very shortly, it is just a case of as Nicholas says 'crossing the T's and dotting the I's'.

Like most contracts offered this year, the length of the contract takes him until the end of the 2006/07 season.

Nicholas looked set to leave Swindon last season after falling out of favour with then Manager Andy King.

He was even sent out to League 2 Club Chester on loan last season, who now find themselves on the verge of being relegated to The Conference National.

Nicholas has had something of a revival under new manager Iffy Onuora and has been pivotal in Swindon's fight against relegation.

Nicholas originally signed for Swindon from Liverpool.
