Carling Cup Information

The 1st Round of the Carling Cup is made at 0930 on Tuesday June 16th.

The round is divided into a Northern and Southern draw with a group of seeded teams and the rest.

Somewhat ludicrously Middlesbrough and Newcastle United are awared for the dismal Premiership campaign by receiving a bye into the 2nd Round.

It'll be a testing round for Swindon as the seeded teams consist of Championship and the best of League One.

South Seeded:

Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic, Colchester United, Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town, Millwall, MK Dons, Norwich City, Peterborough United, Plymouth Argyle, QPR, Reading, Southampton, Southend United, Swansea City, Watford.
