Swindon were put through their paces yesterday against Cardiff City at the County Ground in front of a crowd of 2,157.
The Bluebirds consisted of a mix first team and younger players included wantaway forward Ross McCormack in their line-up.
Danny Wilson opted to play Phil Smith in goal with Jonathan Douglas captaining the side while new trialist Berlin Ndebe-Nlome on the bench.
Billy Paynter had the best early chance after being set-up by Lescinel Jean-Francois in the first 10 minutes - Paynter's effort clipped the bar. Afterwards clear-cut efforts were few and far between.
The most notable other moment in the first half was a glaring miss by Cardiff's Northern
reland international Tony Capaldi.
The second half saw both sides trying their luck in front of goal. Ndebe-Nlome 'looked lively' but Billy Paynter remained the most likely attacker to score.
The usual friendly fixture tooing and throwing concluded in a 0-0 draw but a decent run-out for both clubs as they prepare for their season-long campaigns.
