FRIENDLY: STFC 0-2 Plymouth Argyle

Second half goals from Marcel Seip and an unfortunate David Lucas own goal meant that Plymouth left Wiltshire with a comfortable 2-0 victory this afternoon.

It was Paul Sturrock's first trip back since leaving for Home Park in 2007.

The first half ended goaless but a rebound goal by Marcel Seip gave the Pilgrims the lead while a 25 yarder from Luke Summerfield hit the bar, then hit Lucas and went in - 2-0.

STFC: Phil Smith (David Lucas '57); Kevin Amankwaah, Jerel Ifil, Sean Morrison (Gordon Greer '58), Callum Kennedy; Jon-Paul McGovern (Anthony McNamee '58), Jonathan Douglas (C), Lecsinel Jean-Francois (Alan O'Brien '58), Lloyd Macklin (Mark Marshall '63), Billy Paynter (Scott Cuthbert '73), Michael Timlin (Craig Easton '54).

Sub not used: Nathan Thompson.

PAFC: Romain Larrieu; David McNamee, Marcel Seip, Réda Johnson, Gary Sawyer; Luke Summerfield, Carl Fletcher (C), Karl Duguid (Steve MacLean '77), Chris Clark (Craig Noone '65); Jamie Mackie, 24 Ashley Barnes (Rory Fallon '53).
