Swindon Draw Wolves in the Cup

Swindon will visit Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2nd Round of the League Cup.

This will be the first time Town and Wolves have played eachother since the 2001 League Cup tie at Molyneux which saw Swindon win 2-1 thanks to goals from Bobby Howe and Keith O'Halloran.

Including 2nd legs and replays this is Swindon and Wolves' 10th fixture in this competition.

1979/80: W 2-1 Rowland & Mayes
1979/80: L 1-3 McHale
1993/94: W 2-0 Summerbee & Mutch

1996/97: L 0-1
2001/02: W 2-1 Howe & O'Halloran

Tie will be played in the week starting Monday 24th August.
