Sheehan on Wilson's Radar?

As transfer deadline day approaches rumours are flying around left, right and centre and if you are to believe what some Leeds United fans believe then their Irish defender Alan Sheehan is set to join Swindon Town.

The 22 year old Athlone native and former Irish U-21 international began his career with Leicester City where he made 23 appearances for the Foxes, scoring once. A move to Leeds United followed but never fully established himself fully at Elland Road.

Town fans may recall that Sheehan was sent off at the County Ground last season for Leeds and also appeared in Town's 0-0 draw against Crewe Alexandra where he had a brief spell.

At this moment in time there's not much authentication in regards to this little rumour... that's all it is, rumour.

Take him! He has no place at Leeds...

This link emerged from a Leeds independent forum so it could be rubbish.

Probably is, although I expect him to leave Leeds tomorrow, he's currently fourth choice left back. I don't know if he'd want to play at the County Ground? last season he went their twice, he got sent off and carried off!!

Is he as bad as what I've been reading? I was told that Lucas and Douglas were rubbish but they've done alright (first day thumping aside!)
Nellup
I think they have done more than 'alright' Nellup and settled in extremely well - our defence is more like a unit now. Some Leeds fans somehow seem to have this thing about demeaning the players if they leave for another club. Strange ???? It would IMO, appear even if they don't want or like the player, they don't like any other team to have him, incase the new manager gets a better player out of him.

Sheehan went to Oldham on a months loan today.
