Swindon Town 125th Anniversary

Next season Swindon Town will celebrate their 125th anniversary as a professional football team and have some events planned for next season.

The club will be bringing out 2 commemorative shirts. Both home and away shirts will have 125th Anniversary 1881-2006 arched over the badge next season. These are set to sell very well and will become very collectable. The adult shirts next season will be £32.00. You can secure yours with a £10.00 deposit.

The club will also be looking at bringing out a third kit with season ticket holders names embroidered into the shirt itself. Deputy Chairman Mark Devlin noted the club are currently in discussions with Lonsdale, the clubs kit manufacturer's about costs.

Swindon will also be looking to bring out a 1970's style Swindon shirt as they did with the 1960's style shirt this season, which was manufactured by Toffs.

The club will be sure to bring out many exciting new shirts and collectors items to honour 125 years of Swindon Town Football.

Other events rumoured for next season are player apperances, a Swindon Town All Star XI game, DVD of the clubs history, and DVD's of the clubs greatest matches.

For the first time you may be able to own the League Cup final from 1969, The playoff finals in 1990 and 1993 and much more.

**PLEASE NOTE** The last two paragraphs are rumours and have yet to be confirmed by Swindon Town Football Club.

THE SWINDON TOWN BADGE IS USED WITH PERMISSION FROM SWINDON TOWN FOOTBALL COMPANY AND CANNOT BE RE-USED OR RE-PRODUCED WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT.
