FA CUP: 1st Round Draw on Sunday

Could it be almost a year since Maurice Malpas' dire Swindon side went down to Blue Square Premier side Histon thanks to a 66th minute winner from Daniel Wright? Well it is!

Here we go again, the F.A. Cup 1st Round Proper is here once more. Non-League clubs will be dreaming of away trips Leeds United, Charlton Athletic, Norwich City and Southampton while the rest of us hope and pray that the draw is kind to them whether that be avoiding the proverbial banana peel to Non-League sides or massive round trips to the other side of the country.

The F.A. Cup is best domestic competition in the world and hopefully our beloved Swindon can go beyond the 1st Round this year.

Many Swindon fans will be keeping an eye out for Oxford's home tie with Thurrock in hope we draw our enemy to finally get revenge for our loss at the Kassam all those seasons ago.
