City Fans Praise Swindon Fans

Bristol City supporters have praised Swindon Town supporters for their fantastic away support at Ashton Gate for our local derby yesterday.

Its not very often that Bristol City would praise our fans, given the fact we are local rivals.

Our fans showed heart and sang the whole game despite knowing relegation was looming. In the end we were relegated to League Two but here is a selection of the kind words from City fans.

'As much as I thouroughly enjoyed winding them up about their current situation, I thought they were magnificent very good today. All the talk of them only bringing over 800ish proved to be baloney and from where I was situated I thought they did themselve's proud under the circumstances'

'i thought they created a good atmosphere, considering they new they were as good as down from the kick-off'

'Well played swindon, shame it was played under them circumstance's'

'Good game, great atmosphere. Well played Swindon and good luck for next season'

'everyone thought it was going to be rubbish today but you played well and in my opinion we were lucky for the point, Aaron brown played well today and if you can motivate him he is a good player'
