Cureton Hints At Departure

Town striker Jamie Cureton has hinted at leaving the County Ground after the team was relegated.

Speaking to Talk Sport radio, Cureton said he was frustrated and did not want to be playing in League 2. Cureton feels he is better than League 2, meaning that he will likely look to leave Swindon now the team is relegated.

Cureton missed several sitters this season, most noteably at Yeovil and this weekend at Bristol City.

Colchester United are expected to table a bid for the striker after their fate is decided.

All signs point to Cureton leaving the County Ground after recieving abuse from a minority of fans, and being left on the bench lately.

These latest comments on Talk Sport all but confirm his desire to leave the County Ground.
