Iffy Keen To Sign Jutkiewicz

Iffy Keen To Sign Jutkiewicz

Swindon Town manager Iffy Onuora is keen to sign Striker Lucas Jutkiewicz to a professional contract.

Jutkiewicz has a year left on his youth scholarship, but the 17 year old has shown enough promise to impress Onuora, and earn a full time permanent contract.

Lucas made his senior debut this season on the bench against Chesterfield and will be a key part of next season's Swindon team, who will be fighting for promotion to League One.

i'd give him a full year to settle into the first team, after his run in the latter stages of this season were very encouraging. he has the ability to hold the ball up and cause defences trouble granted yet to prove he can make the same impact in the first team as he did the reserves but wont know till he gets a run out!!

I think if given the right nurturing he could be half decent.
