Iffy: We Need Experienced Defender

Manager Iffy Onuora has revealed his first order of duty this offseason is to beef up his back four.

Speaking Yesterday Iffy Onuora was quick to note that part of Town's down fall this season was due to his defender's an area he is trying to beef up. 'We need a little bit more experience, a little bit more physical presence, '

'I look at the teams who have gone up and done well and the bedrock of that success has been defensive.'

'At times we have defended very well but I'm mindful that we have quite a young back four and we are going into a division that we don't know loads about at this moment in time'

Alan Reeves is the club's most senior Defender, however Reeve's will not be playing since retiring earlier in the season, due to a broken leg during Swindon's Carling Cup clash with Wycombe Wanderers. Iffy noted he need's someone to replace Reeve's wealth of experience and leadership at the back.

'We might need someone who has been at that level or is an experienced player.'

We need a captain that can organise and lead this team. Someone in the same calibre as your shaun Taylors etc, dedicated and will not shy a way.
