'If It's Football, It's Vital'

VITAL POTM: Jonathan Douglas

After an impressive month for Swindon Town - the fifth Vital Swindon Player of the Month of the 2009/10 campaign could have gone to one of several members.

J-P McGovern has transformed to one of the clubs most impressive workers while the goals of Billy Paynter and Charlie Austin were sometimes the difference as to whether Town earned 3 points, 1 point or none.

However, this month the vote has been comforably won by JONATHAN DOUGLAS. This is the Irishman's first Vital win but he has easily been one, if not THE, most important members of the Swindon Town team.

He was desperately missed earlier in the season when he was suspended and has been in fine form ever since.

A worthy winner.
