'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Peacock Becomes a Mariner

Scottish forward Lee Peacock has signed an 18 month contract with League Two strugglers Grimsby Town it has been confirmed.

Peacock, 33, joined Swindon Town on a Free Transfer from Sheffield Wednesday four years ago in January 2006.

The tattooed former Bristol City forward scored 20 league goals during his time at the County Ground (125 games), 10 of them came during the 2006/07 League Two season.

His final Town appearance came as a late sub in Town's last game of the 2000's - the 3-1 win over Yeovil Town.

Although never majorly prolific Peacock's effort and commitment could never be questioned - Vital Swindon Town would like to wish 'Peacs' all the best for the remainder of his football career.

One of the most loyal and respected players of the last few years at Swindon, good luck Peacs.
